The Department of Marketing and Decision Sciences (DMDS) is one of the three Departments that currently constitute the Knutsford Business School. DMDS provides rigorous and thorough Marketing and Decision Sciences graduate and undergraduate degree programmes to prepare our students with Marketing and Decision Science related career objectives to become skilled and ethical leading graduates in line with the KBS mission.
The Department currently offers the following programmes:
-BSc. Business Administration (Marketing)
-MBA in Marketing
Students are assured of the needed support they require from the Department to successfully complete their chosen studies in line with the University College's academic regulations. Students are advised to pay attention to all graduation requirements including the University College's Required Courses, the KBS's Required Courses and the DMDS's Specialisation Required Courses.

The world of business today is very competitive, dynamic and complex. The future is even more complex. The next generation of managers and business administrators must be trained to be able to deal with human complexities, technological dynamics, and the unending global competition. Programmes and training are designed to create broad-mindedness, originality and competencies as well as upholding virtues of life-long learning, discipline and integrity. The Programmes are required to deal with these complexities and to ensure corporate survival, growth and success. The need for global competence underlies Knutsford's Degree Programmes. It aims at preparing graduates to deal with the current and emerging business, management and leadership dynamics and complexities in industry and society. The programmes are theoretically and practically well-balanced with focus on both national and international businesses.
Knutsford scholarship is available for Ghanaian students requiring financial aid.
The award is based on financial need, academic merit, and achievements.
Our Department has a full-time faculty member serving as an internship coordinator for our students. We offer internships for academic credit and encourage students to take advantage of the wealth of internship opportunities.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is provided ‘as and when’ the aid is available. Students would be informed of all available aid and of the criteria for accessing them. It is the student’s responsibility to apply for such aid. Financial aid provided by the college is strictly for tuition and is not refundable under any circumstance. Students may contact the Students Services Office for details.
Types of Financial Aid Programme
SSNIT Students Loan
Ghanaian students interested in study loans can access the SSNIT student loans provided by the Government of Ghana through SSNIT. Interested students may contact the Students Services Office for details.
After the successful completion of our programme, our students go on to work with major companies and organizations, pursue graduate degrees, attend law school, or start their own entrepreneurial ventures.
